THE HOMEBUILDING PROCESS

The first step is meeting with the staff at Raintree to discuss the construction of a project of your choice.  Raintree will help you locate a site and will even include the cost of the land in the total package.

Next comes the design phase where Raintree assigns a designer to work with you in a design that suits your taste and budget.  This is actually a two-step process in which a preliminary plan is developed to determine an initial cost figure.  Assuming the initial cost estimate is within your budget, the designer proceeds to develop a finished plan.  If not, the designer makes adjustments until the cost is within budget.

After approvals, the design moves on to construction.  Raintree provides a line item breakdown (both labor and material) covering every item in your project.  This line item detail is reviewed on a regular basis during the construction phase to insure there are no surprises and unless changes are made, there should be no problems in keeping within the original estimate.

During the entire process, we stay in constant communication with you to keep you informed and abreast of the costs.
